Reel for 2021. Completely shot and edited by me.

Wayne Morgan is reclaiming his life by recovering from substance use disorder. The choice to commit to recovery comes at a heavy cost due to the changes the pandemic caused on the recovery community- driving upwards of 800 miles every week, choosing recovery over employment and dozens of hours of treatment and support groups. This choice saved his life and continues to save his life every day. (Full project: News21)

With prices of materials sky high and client's unwillingness to pay the normal rate, Carrasco struggles to pay the 2-3 workers he now employs. To compensate for the lower pay, Carrasco drives his employees to the worksites and pays for their lunch so that every cent they earn goes to their families. (Full project: News21)

Junior film and new media majors at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln worked on their junior projects during the 2019-20 academic year. Elijah Quinn, Rebecca Snowden and Mitch Francis, student directors of their projects, produced the content for their film in the fall and worked on post-production in the spring. Due to the university closing over concerns from the COVID-19 pandemic, the premiering of the films is postponed from the spring into the fall. Currently, the students are working to finalize their films before the end of the semester. (The Daily Nebraskan)

The Prairie Pines Nature Preserve is a 145-acre area of land that is protected for conservation, nature experience and understanding. It was purchased by Walt and Virginia Bagley in 1959 and was turned into a “choose-and-cut” Christmas tree farm. Eventually, the trees grew up into the forest that stands today. It was donated to the University of Nebraska Foundation in 1992 to ensure its protection. The Nebraska Forest Service maintains the grounds and ensures it is in optimal condition for all. The Prairie Pines Nature Preserve strives to create a habitat and refuge for all living things including plants, animals and humans.
